Level-5 shared the latest updates on Inazuma Eleven at Level-5 Vision yesterday. Below, you'll find details on the latest 3DS game, the latest Wii game, and the franchise's expansion into arcades and retailers as part of a new "Level-5 Station" system.
Wii owners can look forward to Inazuma Eleven Strikers 2012 Xtreme on December 22. An low priced updated version of Inazuma Eleven Strikers, Xtreme adds elements from Inazuma Eleven GO, including characters and skills you might have seen in the anime. You can also make certain characters perform a transformation shot, shown in the below screens.
A ported version of Xtreme is set to be the first game for Level-5's new Level-5 Station system. Level-5 Station is a game terminal with a 32 inch monitor, Wi-Fi support, and IC card support. Level-5 says that it will feature customized versions of consumer games and will also be used as a terminal for distributing characters and items for Level-5's other games. The units will be placed in retailers and arcades.
In Strikers' case, players can look forward to high definition visual output. Depending on the results of your matches, you'll earn new players and items, which can be saved to your IC card.
Level-5 Station Inazuma Eleven Strikers 2012 Xtreme will be released shortly. The cost per play session is 100 yen.
The next 3DS entry in the series is the previously announced Inazuma Eleven Go Shine/Dark. We posted a gallery earlier in the day. Visit this page for all the images.
The screens include a look at one of the major differences between the Shine and Dark versions: wives. Endo Mamoru, main character of the previous Inazuma games, is all grown up in this one. Depending on which version of the game you buy, you'll get one of two wives. Natsume (left) will appear in Shine. Fuyumi (right) will appear in Dark.
The two versions will have other differences as well. In Shine, you'll get to experience an original story with Hiroto Kiyama (left). Dark has an original story with Ichirota Kazemaru (right).
