3DS Side Scroller Code of Princess Has Designs From Former Capcom Artist Kinu Nishimura

Illustrator Kinu Nishimura is teaming up with Agashima Entertainment for a new 3DS game called Code of Princess.

Only a few details have surfaced from Weekly Famitsu, which got the scoop on the game this week. Code of Princess is a side scrolling action game. The game uses a parallel line system like action games of old, requiring that you jump in and out of the background as you fight. Up to four players can play together, cooperatively and competitively.

Nishimura made a name for herself from her work at Capcom, where he served as illustrator on a number of projects, including the Street Fighter series. More recently, she headed up character design work on Spike and Chunsoft's 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. On Code of Princess, Nishimura is working on character and world design.

Code of Princess will see 3DS release in Spring 2012.
