Hatsune Miku Project Diva Extend Download Version Arrives in Time For Vita

Yes, this does count as Sonic's first appearance on PlayStation Vita.

Sega has kept quiet about a download release for PSP's Hatsune Miku Project Diva Extend. Today, it finally made the announcement future PlayStation Vita owners have been waiting to hear: the game will get a download release.

The download version of Extend will arrive on December 15, just two days before the release of the Vita hardware. It will be priced ¥4,700, a bit lower than the retail version's ¥5,229.

The December 15 release date is a little over a month after the retail version's November 10 release, so Miku fans are going to have to decide if they want to wait for the download version in order to play the game on Vita, or buy the retail version in advance and double dip when Vita comes out (possibly taking advantage of Sony's promised discount program).
