PlayStation Vita Most Wanted Hardware For Famitsu.com's Readers

3DS leads software with Mario and Monster Hunter.

 
Famitsu's readers can't wait for Monster Hunter on 3DS.

Famitsu.com recently polled its readers on what games and hardware they plan on buying this holiday season. Readers were asked to select three pieces of hardware and three pieces of software.

PlayStation Vita topped the hardware chart with 374 votes, beating the 3DS and its 297 votes. PlayStation 3 came in at third with 72 votes. Following this, 60 said that they do not plan on buying any hardware. 21 said that they plan on buying a PSP, followed by Wii and Xbox 360 with 18 each.

In the software vote, 3DS came out on top, with Monster Hunter 3G grabbing 236 votes and Mario Kart 7 162 votes. Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3/X360) came in at third with 139 votes (the vote combined the PS3 and 360 versions into one).
