Gundam Extreme VS Battles Mario Kart 7 For Top Sales Spot

Gundam Extreme VS will be getting free and paid download content later this month.

Mario Kart 7 was the top game for the week with 423,619 units sold according to Media Create (this is just a bit lower than Enterbrain's figures, which we reported on earlier). But number two wasn't far behind. Namco Bandai's long awaited PS3 conversion of arcade combat game Gundam Extreme VS. sold 349,756 units in its first week.

Assassin's Creed Revelation, Fortune Street Wii, Tekken Hybrid and King of Fighters XIII were among the other newcomers for the week. Here's the full top 20 covering 11/28 to 12/4:
