Akina Minami, also known as my future wife, is in Roppongi promoting PlayStation Vita at the first Tokyo installment of Sony's nationwide PlayStation Vita caravan event.
Here she is in Famitsu.com's report from the event.
The guy next to her is some funny man named Kendo Kobayashi.
Akina and Kobayashi took to the stage to demonstrate the Vita, first starting with the system's "Welcome Pack" tutorial program, then continuing on to games, including Sony's mini-game-a-thon Sawari Ma Kuru.
As they played, Kobayashi was quoted as saying "Can I go back stage and play?" (Obviously an attempt at trying to get some personal time with Akina!). Akina said of the system's gyro controls, "The response is totally good!" (Note: I added the "totally" because I have a feeling that's how she'd talk if she spoke English.)
While the Caravan has been touring Japan over the past month, Tokyo is the real deal, as Sony upped the playable game count to 31 and brought out the stars. The Roppongi Hills event will continue tomorrow with comedy duo TKO. On launch day, the 17th, the event will be held at multiple locations throughout greater Tokyo, including the Jump Festa event space at the Makuhari Messe.
