Square Enix Releases Nanashi no Game Sequel on iPhone

Square Enix has released a followup to DS horror title Nanash no Game. Titled Nanashi no Appli, the sequel is available today on iPhone/iPod touch, priced ¥800.

The premise is similar to the original. You play as someone who's downloaded a cursed 2D RPG that promises your death within one week unless you manage to clear it. The sequel adds 3D sound, Twitter connectivity, and a new system which shows a virtual OS slowly get eaten away as the curse progresses.

An Android version will be released in February.
