Square Enix Arcade Title Gunslinger Stratus Powered By Silicon Studio's Orochi Engine
Square Enix and developer Byking are using Silicon Studio's "Orochi" game development engine for Gunslinger Stratos, an arcade title that was announced earlier this month.
According to a press release issued by Silicon Studio today, the game's use of Orochi allowed for the quick creation of a prototype, and high quality 3D effects and post processing effects.
Orochi is a multiplatform engine from Silicon Studio, developer of 3D Dot Game Heroes. The engine recently entered the news when Silicon announced its support for PlayStation Vita late last year. (See the story here).
Gunslinger Stratos is a gun shooting game that makes use of a unique dual gun system. The game is due for arcade release this Summer.
