Free-to-play gaming on PlayStation Vita is off to somewhat of a bumpy start. Sega announced today that it will be temporarily halting service on Samurai & Dragons in order to address network issues.
Samurai & Dragons was released for PlayStation Vita on March 29. The game uses a free-to-play model, meaning the client download and basic play are free.
Since release, the game has been having network issues, with users unable to login and connect for play sessions. Today, Sega said that addressing these issues and adding new servers to the game will take time, so they have decided to block service until April 17. The game's client will also be unavailable for download until then.
