Namco Bandai will be bringing Tekken Tag Tournament 2 to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Famitsu.com reports. The game was announced by series producer Katsuhiro Harada at Namco Bandai's "Global Gamers Day" event in Las Vegas earlier today.
According to Famitsu's preliminary report, the game will be based off the "Unlimited" version that hit arcades in late March. This means you'll be able to play not just in tag mode, but 1 on 1 and 2 on 1. For details on what features were added for Unlimited, see this story.
The home version will feature all 44 characters from the arcade version. Harada also said to expect additional characters for the home version -- more than we might be expecting, he teased. Also planned for the home version is a new "Fight Lab" mode.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in September of this year.
