Here's an image showing what it's like to play Pokemon's new downloadable Pokemon shooting game, Pokemon AR Searcher.

The text below the art warns that it's just an image -- a beam will not actually emerge from your 3DS in the final product.

Set for release on June 23 at ¥300, Pokemon AR Searcher makes use of the 3DS's camera and gyro sensor to let you "shoot" Pokemon in your surroundings. Pokemon that you've captured in the app can be carried over to Pokemon Black & White 2.

AR Searcher is set in a space known as "Yume no Hazama" (maybe... "Dream Ravine" or "Dream Valley"). Professor Burnet, who's researching the area, asks you to become a member of her team and search for Pokemon.
