Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery Announced for Japan

Special remix soundtrack features tracks from Akira Yamaoka and Misuto Suzuki

 

Superbrothers and Capybara Games is teaming up with localization house 8-4 to bring Superbrothers: Sword and Sorcery EP to Japan. The musical themed iOS, PC and Mac adventure game will see release to the Japanese market on June 21 under the name "Sukitai no Musume."

If you were reading the site over the weekend (and you really should check in every now and then because we'll occasionally report on Dragon Ball games that aren't real), you may have picked up on a story about a teaser site for a game going under the placeholder of "Sukimusu." The teaser site was for this game.

Access the Sorcery.jp official site for details on a special soundtrack that will be released on June 21 as a $5.00 download through iTunes and Bandcamp. "The Scythian Steppes: seven #sorcery songs localized for Japan" soundtrack contains work from Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill), Baiyon (PixelJunk 4am), Misuto Suzuki (Final Fantasy XIII-2, and others.
