Using the 3DS AR technology, Hatsune Miku and Future Stars Project Mirai let players stage virtual concerts on their desk. Sega is using PlayStation Vita's AR tech in Hatsune Miku Project Diva F, but the results are a bit more realistic.
Screens of the AR photo mode in Famitsu this week show Miku posing in the player's kitchen, laying down on the player's bed, and even walking with the player in the rain. AR Hatsune Miku on Vita is full-sized, and has human proportions, different from the cute, tiny Miku used in the 3DS AR feature.
Famitsu says that you'll be able to use the AR feature to take commemorative pics with Miku. You'll be able to adjust the character's size to your liking.
The magazine also hints that there will be additional AR-based play features besides this.
Outside of the AR feature and the final Hatsune Miku Project Diva F name, Famitsu shows the game's Melancholic song, making a first appearance in the Project Diva series. We'll hopefully get some official online media for these features later in the week.
