Konami announced today a final release date of October 25 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Zone of the Enders HD Edition. The game's standard version will be priced ¥3,980 at retail and ¥3,480 as a download (the PS3 download version is due on 10/25, but the Xbox Live Arcade is currently date TBA).
The release date announcement was accompanied by an official site which shared long awaited first screenshots, and additional product details.
ZOE HD includes HD remakes of Z.O.E. and its sequel Anubis. The visuals have been updated to 720p HD and bumped from 30 frames per second to 60 frames per second. Visual effects have also been improved, as has the quality of background music and sound effects. Similar to the Metal Gear remakes, Konami has swapped out 2D elements and fonts with new HD assets.

Other new features for the HD remakes include Trophy and Achievement support, and a new opening animation from Sunrise.
Joining the standard edition on October 25, Konami will release a Premium Package and Konami Style Premium Package. Priced ¥8,980, the Premium Package includes a special box, the Zone of the Enders reBOOT Edition remix CD, and two booklets, the Chronicle Book which recreates booklets from the 2001 and 2003 releases, and the ReBOOT Book, which features dialogues between Hideo Kojima and art director Yoji Shinkawa and a look at the remake's development. The Konami Style version, to be sold exclusively at the Konami Style e-Shop, adds additional bonuses which can also be purchased separately. See the ZOE HD product page for additional details.
