Acquire announced today an August 9 release date for Orgarhythm, a PlayStation Vita rhythm/strategy fusion from Tak Hirai, an independent developer who previously worked on games like Shenmue and Space Channel 5. The game will be priced ¥3,990 at retail. Its download version is currently price TBA.

E3 attendees will get an early sampling of Orgarhythm next week. The game will be playable in Sony Computer Entertainment America's booth.
