Dragon's Dogma Tops the Charts with 300,000

Weekly Media Create sales chart packed with new releases.

 

Capcom promised a hit with Dragon's Dogma, and they seem to be delivering. The PS3 version of the game sold over 300,000 units in its first week, easily placing it at the top of Media Create's weekly sales chart. The Xbox 360 version was in fourth with almost 30,000 units.

Media Create's latest chart is packed with new releases. Mario Tennis Open took second with 102,000 units. The latest Idolmaster Gravure pack made it in at sixth. Other new releases included Cave's latest Xbox 360 shooter Mushihimesama, various PS3 versions of Steins;Gate, the package version of Vita's Samurai & Dragons (the free download version was released earlier) and PSP's Elminage Gothic.

The hardware charts remained mostly unchanged. 3DS and Xbox 360 saw somewhat of a boost, PS3 saw an even smaller bump, but everything else was level with last week.
