Nintendo Denies Nikkei 3DS XL Report
Paper's report full of errors, says Nintendo.
Nintendo has issued a statement denying a Nikkei report from earlier today.
Nikkei reported earlier today (and we translated it here) that Nintendo would be announcing a larger 3DS at E3. This new system would be released as early as this summer.
The Nikkei report also mentioned car navigation, books and karaoke downloads for Wii U, along with the expectation of a 30,000 yen price point for the system.
Nintendo's statement claims that the Nikkei report is not based off things announced by Nintendo, is full of mistakes and is nothing more than conjecture from the paper's publisher.
As noted Nintendo's denial, the company will be holding its E3 press conference on Tuesday morning (Pacific time).
