Famitsu is filled with mini RPG non-announcements this week. The magazine spoke with representatives from Square Enix, Imageepoch and Level-5 and learned the following:
Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino says that as a game designer, he wants to make a new big world akin to the open worlds of Skyrim and Dragon's Dogma. He believes he will be able to do this in the near future.
Imageepoch CEO Ryoei Mikage says that his company is currently developing its first action RPG. This will be released for HD platform(s).
Square Enix's Ryutaro Ichimura says that he's developing an all new action RPG. It's apparently a hardware-free game, meaning you can play and access it anywhere. You can play it on the go on whatever platform you want, then return home and play it on a prettier screen.
The magazine also got commentary from Yoshinori Kitase, but as his comments concerned Final Fantasy XIII, we posted it here.
