Capcom Announces 3rd Person Action Title Remember Me

Alter the minds of your foes in 2084 Neo Paris.

Capcom kicked off its press conference at Germany's Gamescom event today with the announcement of a brand new IP, Remember Me. This original third person action title will be released for PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows in May 2013.

Developed by Paris-based Dontnod Entertainment, Remember Me puts players in the role of Nilin in 2084's Neo-Paris. Nilin is a former elite "memory hunter" who can break into people's minds and steal or alter their memories. Fearing Nilin's knowledge and capabilities, the authorities have arrested her and wiped her memory clean. She escapes prison and, hunted by the people who created the surveillance society, begins a search for her identity.

The game promises a mix of exploration and combat, using Nilin's martial arts proficiency. You'll make use of a new gameplay mechanic called "Memory Remix" to alter parts of people's memories in real-time.
