Hatsune Miku Causes PlayStation Vita Sales Surge

Sega rhythm game beats Devil Summoner, Senran Kagura, Gundam and Neptune for top spot.

 

PlayStation Vita saw a major sales spike last week all thanks to Hatsune Miku Project Diva F. The latest installment of Sega's rhythm game sold 158,009 units in its first week. Vita hardware sales more than quadrupled to 46,877 units.

The week was packed with new releases, giving us a mostly new top ten. Devil Summoner Soul Hackers, which includes a first trailer for Shin Megami Tensei IV, placed second with 73,690 units. Senran Kagura Burst placed a close third with 70,569 units.
