CESA shared further details today on the year 2008 installment of the Tokyo Game Show.
As previously revealed, this year's show will kick off on 10/9 and last until 10/12. While the first two days are for industry members and press only, the last two days will be open to the public at a charge of 1,200 yen per day.
Those who plan on attending can save a bit of yen by ordering tickets in advance. Convenience stores and other outlets will sell advance tickets starting July 16. These tickets will cost 1,000 yen, meaning a savings of 200 yen over the gate price.
This year's TGS will feature 165 companies showing off some 1,742 products. The product count is a record for the show, according to the statement issued by CESA today.
