Square Enix shared a big gift for Kingdom Hearts fans today with the opening of an [a href=http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom/days/]official website[/a] for the new DS installment in the series, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

The site currently has sections for Story, Character, Information and Download. Of particular note is the download section, which has a wallpaper available for download in a variety of sizes. The information at the other sections of the site appears to all be old, but now you can view profiles of characters like Roxas and Axel while listening to a sampling of the game's soundtrack.

Release specifics are currently absent from the site, but with this development, and a planned second playable appearance at the DKΣ3713 event in early August, perhaps the Kingdom Hearts return is close at hand.
