Playable Afrika set for Experience PlayStation event

Three events coming in late July and August

Sony announced today specifics on upcoming installments of its "Experience! PlayStation" demo event series. As promised, the event will head to Haneda Airport and other locations shortly.

Haneda is up first, with a PSP-exclusive version of the event. Sony will show off Gundam Battle Universe, Talkman Travel Korea/Taiwan/China(Shanghai) Version, Puyo Puyo! Special Price, Minna no Golf Portable 2, and Minna no Chizu 3 for the PSP along with the system's non-gaming tech like the 1seg tuner, Skype, TV output and internet radio. Interested parties should head to Tokyo's local airport on either July 26 or August 2 from 10:00 to 18:00.

PS3 returns to the event the next week as Sony heads home to the PlayStation Square demo space in its Tokyo headquarters in Aoyama. While a full title list hasn't been revealed, Sony is promising playable versions of Afrika and Aquanaut's Holiday, marking the playable debuts for both titles. This leg of the evnet will be held on August 7 (postponed to August 8 in the event of rain) from 17:00 to 21:30.

A couple of days later, on August 9, the event will head to Lalaport Yokohama. Playable titles include Afrika, Peking Olympics 2008, Kung Fun Panda, Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit and Pro Baseball Spirits 5. Sony will also show off the PS3's Blu-ray disc playback via an airing of Earth.
