Sega signs with Double Fusion for in-game ads

Upcoming Sega titles to use Dynamic Ads service.

Sega and Double Fusion Japan are teaming up for in-game ads. The two firms announced today that future Sega home game titles will feature in-game ads from Double Fusion. First mention of such a deal was made late last year.

Sega will make use of a Double Fusion in-house product called Dynamic Houkoku, or Dynamic Ads. To interface with Dynamic Ads, developers leave blank spaces in their game worlds. The Dynamic Ads service loads advertisements into these spaces via the internet. Dynamic Ads is apparently able to measure how much of a player's attention is given to an ad.

Today's announcement did not make mention of specific titles.
