AQ Interactive Gets a New CEO

Former Koei boss to take over come June.

AQ Interactive announced today (5/28) a major staff change. Current CEO Tomoyuki Takechi will be stepping aside, to be replaced by Kiyoshi Komatsu. The change will take hold following approval at a June 23 shareholder meeting.

Komatsu, 53, previously served as CEO at Koei from 2001 until June 2007. He's currently an adviser with AQ.

Kiyoshi Komatsu, former Koei CEO, set to become AQ Interactive CEO in June.

As reason for the change, a press release from AQ cited a desire to strengthen its group management policy in the face of an expanding market.

Takechi will stay on with the company as an advisor.
