The fact that Front Mission Evolved was announced first overseas was just a little bit surprising given the following the series has here in Japan.

But Square Enix's home turf will be getting in on the fun shortly. A post at the Japanese Front Mission blog confirms that a Japanese version of the Evolved official site will be coming next week. That will presumably be accompanied by an official announcement of the game.

Currently, if you target Japan at the FME official site, you're taken to that Square Enix E3 teaser page from a few weeks back, confirming (for the two people who hadn't already figured it out) that the teaser was indeed for Front Mission.
