Ninja Gaiden 2 is making the move to the PlayStation 3 under the name Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and it's not doing so quietly. Tecmo shared a final release date for the game today and also shared a first look at a special Premium Box that no ninja master should be without!

Sigma 2 is now set for release on October 1. Those who just want the game will have to hand over ¥7,800. If you pre order, Tecmo will throw in the "Premium Starter Set," a special starter guide book that offers artwork and strategies and also includes a download code for an original Ryu Hayabusa costume.

Real ninja masters will want to consider the special Premium Box Tecmo has in the works. Priced at ¥9,980, this box includes a copy of the standard version of the game, an original soundtrack, a special sleeve, and an original accessory set. The Premium Starter Set pre-order bonus is also contained within this set.
