While home owners continue to wait for the the July 30 release of The King of Fighters XII, SNK Playmore unleased the latest arcade installment of the series today. Head to your local game center, and you may find The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match available for play.

If you're into the long running KOF franchise and you have a PS2, you're probably familiar with this game. KOF2002 UM is an arcade version of the February PlayStation 2 KOF game of the same name. The game features the highest number of characters in KOF arcade history, and offers visual and game balance adjustments.

Although original a PS2 game, this the arcade version makes use of SI Electronics' System Board Y2 arcade hardware.
