Dead Space Dated Domestically

The Wii version gets the Japanese release that never took place for the original.

Electronic Arts shared today a final Japanese release date of October 1 for Dead Space Extraction. The game will retail for ¥6,090.

Dead Space Extraction is a Wii followup to Dead Space, released in 2008 on PS3 and Xbox 360. Players get to witness the events prior to Isaac Clake's mission on the USG Ishimura in that title. Extraction makes use of motion controls via the Wiimote for a first person horror experience.

The October 1 date makes the game near simultaneous with its overseas counterparts. The original Dead Space was never released here.
