Attendance Drops at first TGS Public Day
10,000 fewer attendees does not help explain how the wait to play Assassin's Creed II was five hours.
After two days of increased attendance, things did not go so well at the Tokyo Game Show's first public day. Show organizer CESA announced today that Saturday attendance for the show was 61,138 people. This is down by about 10,000 from 2008's 71,639 first public day visitors.
Total attendance for the first three days stands at 113,178.
For all four days in 2008, total attendance reached 194,288. This was a record for attendance at the show, and one that probably won't be renewed this year.
