CESA Sets Date for Tokyo Game Show 2010

Organizers debating three day or four day showing once again.

Coverage from this year's Tokyo Game Show is still coming in, but show organizer CESA has already set a tentative date for next year's show.

Following the last day of the show yesterday, CESA announced that next year's event will be held either from September 16 or September 17 through September 19. The location will, once again, be the Makuhari Messe in Chiba.

CESA initially debated a three day or four day showing for this year's event as well, eventually deciding on the four day showing.

Overall attendance at TGS was down by about 10,000 this year. However, the business days saw a slight increase. In the event of a three day showing, the event would lose one business day.

This year's TGS saw a total of 180 companies, organizations and schools from 18 countries and regions. Over 758 titles were on display.
