Toshihiro Nagoshi has teased at new titles in the past, but they always ended up being new entries in the Ryu ga Gotoku (aka, Yakuza) series. At long last, it seems the producer of one of Sega's biggest recent success stories will be delivering something completely new.

During a Q&A session that followed a Tokyo Game Show stage event on Sunday, Nagoshi revealed that he's working on new titles other than Ryu ga Gotoku. According to to Impress Watch, the producer also said that he is making progress on a number of projects now.

Nagoshi's comment was part of the show's Creators Talk Show stage event. Last year's stage event featured Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and Monster Hunter producer Ryozo Tsujimoto. This year, Nagoshi was joined by Level-5 CEO Akiro Hino and Game Center CX host Shinya Arino. Enterbrain CEO Hirokazu Hamamura hosted the session.
