It looks like Hori's Xbox 360 Twin Sticks EX devices have at long last made it out to buyers. Sega got its own units early last week and posted about it at the official VOOT blog.

Early test product pics might have suggested how big the device is. In case you had your doubts, here are some comparison pics that Sega posted at the blog:

You're going to need some serious space to store that thing when you're not playing the one game that supports it.

Of course, Sega could eliminate the problem by releasing another Virtual On or two and maybe even getting other developers (cough From Software, Square Enix) to support it.
