Namco Bandai Announces Tekken 6 Online Co-Op for Japan

Two player play for the game's scenario campaign mode hits next week.

The announcement came first overseas, but Tekken 6's online co-op mode is coming to Japan as well. Namco Bandai provided details today.

Online co-op is an update to the game's scenario campaign mode which adds two player online cooperative play. The mode also changes around some basics of the stages from their solo player counterparts, including enemy positioning. Players will also find new leaderboard compatibility for co-op play.

The new mode will be added to the game as part of a free update that's due to hit early next week. Other updates include various bug fixes.

PS3 owners can look forward to the update on January 18 at 17:00. The 360 update will follow at 19:00.
