Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino promised via Twitter a new White Knight Chronicles 2 trailer for today. He did not let us down.

Midway through, the trailer introduces some of the elements that have been introduced in the various previews over the past few months, including newcomer allies like Scardyne and Miu.

The trailer was actually posted at the game's official site, which was updated today to reflect the newly announced July 8 release date. Don't be afraid to access this site for yourself, as unlike the official site for the original game, it's not a Flash nightmare!

This new trailer is the the first footage we've seen since the original Tokyo Game Show 2009 trailer. With a release now less than two months away, we'll presumably be getting more clips, including some actual gameplay, in the not-so-distant future.
