Hideki Kamiya's Other Jobs
He's a boss designer! He's a voice actor! No wait, he's both!
Hideki Kamiya made Bayonetta.
But he's more than just a great game director.
Previously, Kamiya hinted at his great desire to make a Star Fox game -- or at least to have Platinum Games be forced by Nintendo at gunpoint to make it.
Kamiya also seems to want to try his hand (or be forced to try his hand) at making Mega Man. In high school, he submitted two Mega Man bosses for a boss design contest. The names for his creations were Planet Man and Aqua Man.
Kamiya revealed his interest in Mega Man boss creation in a Twitter back-and-forth with Capcom's Shu Takumi.
Takumi is best known for the Gyakuten Saiban/Ace Attorney series. Kamiya has some big ties to that series as well, as he pointed out to Takumi that he was the voice of Prosecutor Godot in Gyakuten Saiban 3 (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations).
That's not Kamiya's only voice acting role, though. Other roles he mentioned in this series of Tweets was Viewtiful Joe's Six Machine and Okami's Onigiri Sensei.
It's good to know that if Kamiya's impossible directoral streak of Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and Bayonetta suddenly comes to an end, he'll have other work options.
