From Amaterasu to Thor, last week's Comic-con event in San Diego was packed with Marvel vs Capcom 3 announcements. So when can we expect to hear more?

Producer and "total director" Ryota Niitsuma gave a hint today at the game's official blog. After summarizing the Comic-con happenings, Niitsuma wrote, "Capcom will not have a booth at next month's Gamescom event in Germany, but we'd like to make an announcement of some form, so please look forward to it.

Gamescom kicks off on August 18.
