PSP Firmware Update Adds Mapping Software
Version 6.35 firmware available today.
Sony's x-Radar Portable application is about to become an integral part of the PlayStation Portable. Starting with today's newly released 6.35 firmware, x-Radar comes built in!
x-Radar was released earlier this year to PlayStation Store as a free download. The app lets you use maps and guides that you've purchased from PlayStation Store for around ¥500 or so each. Once you have the appropriate materials, you'll be able to get information on travel spots, wireless LAN spots, PlayStation Spots, restaurants, and other points of note in your area.
The switch to built-in status comes as x-Rader is seeing an update of its own to Version 3. This update improves functionality in various ways. You can find specifics at the official site.
