Mobagetown Rebrands Itself

Popular social mobile service units brands under one worldwide logo.

DeNA announced today that it will be changing the name of its popular "Mobagetown" social mobile service to just "Mobage." The change will take place on March 28 and is being made for the further development of worldwide service.

The Mobagetown service and the overseas Plus+ Network, which is operated by America's ngmoco, a DeNA subsidiary since November 2010, will also see a common logo.

The logo will be applied to the PC-based sister service Yahoo! Mobage. While the name for this service will remain the same, the new logo has "Mobage" written in English.
