The Toughest Decision You'll Make at the 3DS Launch

Find out what's in the various Nintendogs + Cats versions.

Choose your evil (the term evil is used her to describe things that are so cute it's like they're evil) from next week's Nintendo 3DS launch:

There's Nintendogs + Cats: Toy Poodle & New Friends. This includes Toy Poodle, Welsh Corgi Puppy, Miniature Schnauzer, Bull Boxer, Bull terrier, Labrador Retriever, Shih Tzu, Jack Russell Terrier and Pomeranian.

There's Nintendogs + Cats: French Bull & New Friends. This includes French Bulldog, Shetland Sheepdog, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chihuahua, Dalmatian, Yorkshire Terrier, German Shepherd Dog, Miniature siberian husky, and Basset hound.

And finally, there's Nintendogs + Cats: Shiba & New Friends. This includes Golden Retriever, Beagle, Miniature Pinscher, Miniature Dachshund, Maltese, Great Dane, Pug and English Cocker Spaniel.

It's a tough choice, but don't stress out too much over it. You'll be able to obtain and raise the other dogs, for instance by connecting with other players through Street Pass. You can raise up to three dogs simultaneously (although this goes up to six if you make use of the game's pet hotel).

Nintendogs + Cats also has cats, of course. After progressing in the game, you'll be able to raise cats. You can select from standard, oriental and longhair types, as well as various fur colors and patterns. Unlike the dogs, the cats remain the same across all three versions.
