PS3 Hatsune Miku Dreamy Theater 2 -- First Screens

Sega finalizes the name and shares first screens for the PS3 expansion to the second PSP Hatsune Miku game.

While Sega previously announced Hatsune Miku Project Diva Dreamy Theater 2nd for PS3, today it provided a first look through direct grabbed screenshots. (You'll recall that we were given a brief glimpse in a video showing the special controller Hori is making for the game).

The game's final name is Hatsune Miku Project Diva Dreamy Theater 2nd, Sega confirmed. The name was previously flagged as tentative.

As previously detailed, Dreamy Theater 2nd is a PS3 expansion to PSP's Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd. If you have Dreamy Theater 2nd, you can hook your PS3 up to your PSP via USB to play Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd on the big screen with high resolution models.

Most of the Modules (costumes) from the PSP title work with Dreamy Theater 2nd. The only exception is the collaborative modules for Namco Bandai's Idolmaster SP.

Dreamy Theater 2nd will be released in the summer. Pricing has yet to be announced.

This is the second bit of Hatsune Miku news today. The first was the announcement of Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2.5 for PSP. Sega has not said if the Dreamy Theater 2nd will work with that.
