Final Fantasy Type-0, Dragon Quest Heroes Go Playable Next Month

Square Enix titles going playable in United States... of Odaiba bwa ha ha ha ha.

In a move that can only be described as "Damn you Square Enix don't you know I won't be in Japan then!?", Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy Type-0 will be available for demo at this summer's United States of Odaiba 2011 event.

Yes, there is an event called "United States of Odaiba." It's held every summer by Fuji TV in Odaiba (the area of Tokyo that is almost totally submerged in Binary Domain's 2085 Tokyo). Visitors to last year's event were able to view the opening to Wii's Dragon Quest Monsters Battle Road Victory in 3D.

This year's event will be held from July 16 through August 31. Square Enix will have its own "Square Enix Odaiba Expo" as part of the event. Final Fantasy Type-0 will be playable alongside Dragon Quest Heroes Rocket Slime 3 (3DS). Square Enix will also be selling goods.

Type-0 is due for release some time this Summer, so it's possible that this will be the first chance to try out the game for many.

Visit the event official site for further details.

I've put this image of Type-0 student Sice here because it seems to be popular.
