One Piece Musou Official Site is Live
Check out the logo for Namco Bandai's big crossover with Tecmo Koei.
Like all great teaser countdowns, Namco Bandai's latest teaser countdown was spoiled last week by a magazine leak. The countdown reached zero today confirming the game to be One Piece Pirate Musou.
One Piece Pirate Musou is a collaborative effort between Namco Bandai and Tecmo Koei. Like Gundam and Fist of the North Star before it, Tecmo Koei will be developing the game in the style of its Musou series (known as Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors in English). Specifics beyond this have yet to be announced.
Access the site here. There's nothing there at present except for a bit of animation at the start, and the logo and splash screen you see above. The site lists the game's genre as "Musou Action" (like all the other Musou/Dynasty Warriors games) and platform as PlayStation 3. Release date, price and player count are listed as TBA.
The site promises a "premium video" to be aired at the Tokyo Game Show in a couple of weeks.
