Grasshopper Manufacture Teams With Students For PlayStation Vita Development


No More Heroes developer Grasshopper Manufacture has started an amateur development support program called Game Campus Festa. The developer will be supporting a number of game development schools whose students work on PlayStation Vita software development.

Game Campus Festa kicked off today with the participation of eight development schools across Japan. According to a press release announcing the program, Grasshopper will lend support and guidance to students as their they work on games for Sony's upcoming hardware. Grasshopper also says that it will consider releasing some of the projects in download form.

This news coincides with today's opening of Sony's Play Community social network site. Grasshopper created a group at the site where it promises updates on development progress.
