You won't have to hand over your hard earned yens to sample PlayStation Vita's new shooter, Star Strike Delta. Simultaneous with the final version's release on PSN today, Sony also released a demo.

The demo allows you to play arcade mode's first planet, Alena. You can try out the game's stick and button controls in "Pure" control mode, or sample the Vita's new control scheme in "Delta" control mode.

The final version of Star Strike Delta is available for download at ¥1,000.
