Sega announced today a social adaptation of the Virtua Fighter fighting series for the popular Mobage platform. The game is titled Virtua Fighter Cool Champ.

Cool Champ is a card battle game featuring characters and other elements from the Virtua Fighter series. Players build up a character and face off against rivals.

The game is being developed by Epics. Yu Suzuki's Ys Net studio is supervising development. Sega is supervising the project as a whole.

Mobage members will be abel to access the game on their cell phones on February 17.
