Gung-Ho announced today a final release date for the online play patch it has been promising for Ragnarok Odyssey since before the game's release. Players will be able to engage in online multiplayer sessions starting March 26.

In addition to online play, the free patch also adds Near functionality. You'll receive items and cards from other players via Near.

Other changes include screenshot support, a longer invincibility period for when you start battles, the ability to see other players in the pub when playing ad-hoc multiplayer, and a change in the way that you obtain Green Potions. Post patch, the M and L potions can only be purchased with your Zeny.

Gung-Ho also opened a special site specially for the game's expansions today. Details on future expansions will be posted there.
