Sony Computer Entertainment did a bit of extra credit work for its latest Western game release. Starhawk's Japanese package features an illustration from robot and mecha art specialist Hidetaka Tenjin.

Here's a look at the final result, next to the US packaging for comparison.

Tenjin previously did the box art for a variety of Macross game adaptations. His work in anime includes mechanical art for Macross F and Aquarian Evol.

The Japanese version of Starhawk will be released on May 10, priced ¥5,980. The first print run includes a download code for PlayStation classic Warhawk.
