Accompanying the trailer from earlier, Capcom has shared screens, artwork and details for Lost Planet 3. We've also posted a higher quality version of the trailer below.

Announced as part of Capcom's Captivate 2012 event, Lost Planet 3 is in development for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC release in early 2013. The game puts players in control of blue collar worker Jim, a rig pilot who takes on a contract with Neo-Venus Construction to help prepare E.D.N III for colonization.

Gameplay promises a mix of first person combat while Jim is equipped with his utility rig, and third person foot-based play. Capcom is making use of Unreal Engine 3 for development. The newly opened official site promises online play for up to 10 players.
