Nintendo seems to be following a two month schedule for its Nintendo Direct broadcasts. The last one was held in late February, so it's about time for Iwata to once again take to the podium, brush his flowing hair back and announce the latest 3DS plans.
When will the next broadcast be? Nintendo's Korean official site opened a page today promising a broadcast for the 14th.
It's possible that the Nintendo Korea page is in reference to a Nintendo Direct broadcast specifically targeting the Korean market. The 3DS is due for release in Korea on April 28.
Nintendo tends to give short notice before holding a Nintendo Direct broadcast, so it's still possible that we'll be hearing about a similar broadcast from Nintendo Japan tomorrow or the day after.
Major announcements from the February Nintendo Direct broadcast included Brain Age successor "Oni Training," Game Gear support on the 3DS Virtual Console, download content plans for Fire Emblem Awakening, and a crossover title between Sega, Capcom and Namco Bandai that was revealed earlier today to be Project X Cross.
